They are the prerequisites for creating\u00a0<strong>innovations<\/strong>, which in turn\u00a0<strong>propel the economy<\/strong>\u00a0and make it competitive.<br>\u00a0<br>To think innovatively, one must, first,\u00a0<strong>rely\u00a0on the best achievements of the world&#8217;s philosophical thought<\/strong>, and, secondly, be in direct\u00a0<strong>connection with other cultures<\/strong>\u00a0in order to quickly import and assimilate new ideas.<br>\u00a0<br>This is a big problem in Ukraine, going back to Soviet times when translations of\u00a0<strong>fundamental philosophical works<\/strong>\u00a0were distorted by ideology. As a result, we still use secondary intellectual products of dubious quality that are far from the original.<br>\u00a0<br>Therefore, it is necessary to start with\u00a0<strong>primary sources<\/strong>. After all, a new\u00a0meaning\u00a0is born when classical knowledge is thought over again, due to which its new\u00a0<strong>value<\/strong>\u00a0arises.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>How do we work?\u00a0<\/strong><br>The translation of a philosophical text is a\u00a0<strong>painstaking scientific work<\/strong>\u00a0that requires not only a perfect command of the original language, but also knowledge of the philosophical and historical context in which the work arose. So, our team of translators includes almost twenty of\u00a0<strong>the\u00a0best Ukrainian specialists in this area<\/strong>. <br><br>Except for the scientific and literary edition, all future editions go through the\u00a0<strong>laboratory of scientific translation<\/strong>. It is a public event where experts in linguistics and philosophy discuss the translator&#8217;s work, asking questions and providing clarifications and advice.<br>\u00a0<br>To date, four books have been published:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tempora.com.ua\/uk\/books\/sutnist-nglzmu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Emanuele Severino \u201cThe Essence of Nihilism<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d,<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tempora.com.ua\/uk\/books\/kniga-spasnnja\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ibn Sina \u201cThe Book of Salvation. Logic. Physics. Metaphysics<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d<\/strong>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tempora.com.ua\/uk\/books\/toro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Henry David Thoreau &#8220;Walden, or Life in the Woods<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d <\/strong>and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tempora.com.ua\/uk\/books\/kartezansk-meditats-vstup-do-fenomenolog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Edmund Husserl \u201cCartesian Meditations: An Introduction to Phenomenology\u201d<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<br><strong>Eight more texts<\/strong>\u00a0are being prepared for publication, and it is planned to publish about\u00a0<strong>50 books<\/strong>\u00a0in total, within the publishing program.<br>The program of translations and publications of philosophical literature is a joint project of \u201cMizhvukhamy\u201d institution and \u201cTempora\u201d publishing house. The urgent need of Ukrainians is\u00a0<strong>to<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>recognize themselves as a nation<\/strong>\u00a0with a glorious past, to cultivate self-respect and confidence in their abilities. Digitalization of museum funds in this respect is a logical and necessary step. No museum is able to show the audience the entire collection \u2013 even the largest space wouldn\u2019t be enough. Because of this, we are deprived of the idea of the\u00a0<strong>true amount of cultural values\u00a0<\/strong>in Ukraine.<br>\u00a0<br>Second,\u00a0<strong>the past should work for the future<\/strong>. It is unwise to treat museum treasures only as historical artifacts. We believe that the nation&#8217;s cultural heritage is also an\u00a0<strong>inexhaustible source of ideas and inspiration for creating something new<\/strong>.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>What do we do?\u00a0<\/strong><br>Modern digital technologies allow unlimited access to museum repositories. For this,\u00a0<strong>all objects stored in the museums of Ukraine must be digitalized<\/strong>. Neither the state nor an individual institution can do this work alone. There are many locations in Ukraine that can become\u00a0powerful tourism centers<\/strong>\u00a0and ensure the\u00a0<strong>rapid development of the regions<\/strong>\u00a0where they are located. One of them is \u201cTustan\u201d \u2013 a unique historical and natural landmark, a nature reserve, and a venue for the annual medieval festival in the village of Urych, Lviv region.<br><br>Together with our partners, we are putting together a\u00a0<strong>hub that will unite the local community and business around this attractive tourist destination<\/strong>, which will be a win for all participants in the process.<br><br><strong>How do we work?<\/strong><br>\u201cMizhvukhamy\u201d\u00a0is an intellectual partner of \u201cTustan\u201d NGO. We assist\u00a0<strong>the hub with its development strategy<\/strong>\u00a0and support the launch of its key project. We are going to\u00a0<strong>use the successful experience of \u201cTustan\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0to create similar hubs throughout Ukraine.\n\t<\/div>\n\t<small
